Lake Otis Parkway Surface Rehabilitation, Abbott to 68th and 88th Avenue Reconstruction, Toloff to Lake Otis, Anchorage, Alaska Rehabilitated 7,900 feet of pavement, replaced curb ramps, corrected drainage deficiencies and installed new traffic signals. Completed 2009 - $7.5M
Anchorage Area Safety Improvements Project, Anchorage, Alaska This project provided new traffic signals, channelization improvements and raised medians throughout the Anchorage area. Completed 2009 - $3.6M
Northway Airport Permanent Repairs, Northway, Alaska This project rebuilt the runway and taxiway that was damaged during the 2003 earthquake. This included dynamic compaction, new FAA avionics, and a new realignment of the existing road into Northway Village. Completed 2009 - $15M
Seward Highway Mile Post 43-50 Pavement Refurbishment Project, Alaska This project consisted of reclaiming and paving 7 miles of the Seward Highway, replacing 3,500 feet of culvert pipe and replacing 17,000 feet of guardrail. Completed 2009 - $9.3M Chief Eddie Hoffman Highway Rehabilitation; Watson’s Corner to Brown’s Slough, Bethel, Alaska This project rehabilitated Chief Eddie Hoffman Highway from Watson’s Corner to Brown’s Slough, including drainage enhancements, bridge approach repairs and the addition of left turn lanes. Completed 2009 – $3.4M
2001 HSIP Groups 1A, 1B, 2 and 3B and HSIP Group A This project consisted of various safety improvements throughout the Anchorage, Alaska road systems. Completed 2008 - $2.1M
Chief Eddie Hoffman Highway Rehabilitation; Airport to High School, Bethel, Alaska This project incorporated rehabilitation and paving 3.5 miles of Chief Eddie Hoffman Hwy. Foamed Asphalt Base Course was utilized for subgrade stabilization. Completed 2008 - $9.6M
Constructed a new 2,000 foot runway, a 2,480 foot runway safety area, new taxiway, and installed runway and taxiway lighting. Completed 2008 - $5.7M
Bethel Apron Improvements, Bethel, Alaska Reconstructed and paved two aircraft aprons in Bethel, Alaska. Electrical upgrades included installation of new power operated gates and lighted runway signs. Completed 2007 - $5.0M
Chevak Airport Relocation Phase II, Chevak, Alaska Completed the relocation of Chevak Airport, including resurfacing runway, taxiway, apron and access roads, installation of runway and taxiway lighting, PAPI’s and REIL’s, and the construction of a new snow removal equipment building. Sand Point Airport Runway Rehabilitation and RSA Extension Stage 3 Rehabilitated and paved the Sand Point runway, adding an 800 foot paved runway safety area.
